How long has UPtv been in existence?

Gospel Music Channel, LLC was formed in April 2004 and its first launch was October 31, 2004 on Jackson Energy Authority in Jackson, Tenn. In February of 2010, Gospel Music Channel launched its new name and logo, and became known as gmc.

In 2013, gmc became UPtv – the trusted entertainment brand targeted to adults who seek positive programming with authentic, relatable stories about what it is to be family, in all its complexities. UPtv offers original scripted and reality series, specials, and original movies as well as fan favorite dramas and comedies filled with uplifting stories of family.
